Well, the three gun match for the season went off without a hitch. And the biggest hitch would have been me. I totally spaced the match out. I missed it completely. I thought that it was NEXT weekend. How dumb is that? I was so sure it was next weekend I didn't even look at the match calendar. DUMBASS!!! So--I must apologize to everyone for not being there, for not having the trophies there, and not helping run things. I AM TRUELY SORRY. I promise to make all the trophies and send them to the winners within the next week. I particularly want to apologize to Jim, Steve, Lloyd and anyone else who showed up to help.

I guess I have too many things going on in my life right now, and I need to divest of some of them. I have been a part of action pistol at Tri-county since the very first match, I don't know how many years ago (6,7?). I am going to turn things over to the other guys next year and become a shooter again. I spent so much time making trophies each month that I rarely had time to reload ammo for the matches. I've worrked two jobs for the last thirty years and what little free time I had was taken up by making trophies. I'm retiring from the fire department next year and plan to do more leisure activities that don't have responsibilities that go with them. Besides, my wife has a big list of honey-do's that have been put off for those thirty years..

It's been fun and I will see you all next year on the ranges. I plan to win some matches too. So practice up. Thanks everyone. Rick L.
